Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, profile photo, and password (stored in hashed form). If you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Profile information: Teachers may provide additional information such as biography, teaching languages, availability, and lesson rates. Students may provide their learning goals and language level.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe retains payment details on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Lesson data: We store records of lessons booked, completed, cancelled, and rescheduled, including timestamps and lesson notes.

Communications: Messages sent between students and teachers through our in-app chat are stored to provide the Service.

Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.

• To create and manage your account
• To facilitate lesson booking, scheduling, and payments
• To enable communication between students and teachers

• Service providers: We use trusted third-party providers including Stripe (payments), AWS (cloud infrastructure), MailerSend (transactional email), and Pusher (real-time messaging). These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Luluclass, our users, or the public.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Some data may be retained for a limited period afterwards for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
