We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us scale the Luluclass platform. You'll work across the full stack — from our Java/Spring Boot backend to our React frontend — and play a key role in shaping the architecture and culture of our engineering team.
What you'll do
- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs (Java, Spring Boot, AWS)
- Develop and improve our React/TypeScript frontend
- Collaborate closely with product and design to ship features end-to-end
- Review code, mentor junior engineers, and uphold engineering standards
- Contribute to infrastructure decisions (CDK, AWS, CI/CD)
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Java or a similar backend language
- Solid experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, Pusher or similar)
- Familiarity with payment integrations (Stripe)
- Interest in education technology
We're looking for a driven Sales Manager to grow our teacher and student communities. You'll own the full sales cycle — from identifying opportunities to closing deals — and help build the systems and processes that will scale our go-to-market motion.
What you'll do
- Drive outreach and acquisition of new teachers and B2B student partnerships
- Manage the full sales funnel from lead generation to close
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts
- Develop sales playbooks, scripts, and processes from scratch
- Work closely with the product team to relay market feedback
- Track pipeline and report on key sales metrics
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of sales experience, ideally in a SaaS or marketplace business
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter who thrives in an unstructured, early-stage environment
- Comfort with CRM tools and data-driven sales processes
Nice to have
- Experience in edtech, language learning, or marketplace platforms
- Multilingual abilities
- Experience building a sales function from the ground up
