Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us scale the Luluclass platform. You'll work across the full stack — from our Java/Spring Boot backend to our React frontend — and play a key role in shaping the architecture and culture of our engineering team.

What you'll do

  • Design and build scalable backend services and APIs (Java, Spring Boot, AWS)
  • Develop and improve our React/TypeScript frontend
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to ship features end-to-end
  • Review code, mentor junior engineers, and uphold engineering standards
  • Contribute to infrastructure decisions (CDK, AWS, CI/CD)
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java or a similar backend language
  • Solid experience with React and TypeScript
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have

  • Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, Pusher or similar)
  • Familiarity with payment integrations (Stripe)
  • Interest in education technology
Sales Manager

We're looking for a driven Sales Manager to grow our teacher and student communities. You'll own the full sales cycle — from identifying opportunities to closing deals — and help build the systems and processes that will scale our go-to-market motion.

What you'll do

  • Drive outreach and acquisition of new teachers and B2B student partnerships
  • Manage the full sales funnel from lead generation to close
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts
  • Develop sales playbooks, scripts, and processes from scratch
  • Work closely with the product team to relay market feedback
  • Track pipeline and report on key sales metrics

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of sales experience, ideally in a SaaS or marketplace business
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in an unstructured, early-stage environment
  • Comfort with CRM tools and data-driven sales processes

Nice to have

  • Experience in edtech, language learning, or marketplace platforms
  • Multilingual abilities
