About Taren
Hello! My name is Taren, and I’m an English teacher from South Africa. I have over 4 years of experience teaching English online to students from different countries and age groups.
I love helping students become more confident English speakers by creating lessons that are fun, interactive, and connected to real-life situations. I believe learning English is not only about grammar and vocabulary, it’s about sharing ideas, expressing yourself, and connecting with people around the world.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy photography, music, travelling, and learning about different cultures. I’m excited to meet you, hear your stories, and help you grow your English skills in a supportive and positive classroom!
Teaching style
My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and focused on helping students feel confident using English in real-life situations. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, respected, and encouraged to share their ideas.
In my lessons, I use a variety of activities such as discussions, games, problem-solving tasks, and interactive exercises to keep students engaged and motivated. I focus on improving speaking skills while also helping students develop their vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation naturally.
Students can expect a positive and energetic classroom where they are encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and express themselves. My goal is to help every student become a more confident and effective communicator in English.
