Hello, my name is Sophia Mwinyi. I am from Kenya and I live in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
I have 2+ years experience teaching English. My aim is to teach basic English, daily conversation, simple grammar to people from different countries - India, Philippines, Kenya, Pakistan,Korea, China and etc. I am very patient and I know how to explain English in a very simple, clear way for non-native speakers.
I speak fluent English (Kenyan English is very clear and neutral) and Swahili. I also learned English as a second language because I understand the challenges of learning English as a second language because I learned it myself.
My teaching style is friendly and conversational. I will not just read from a book. I focus on:
A. Real-life conversation - work, travel, daily life
B. Confidence - helping you speak without fear
C. Correction and simple grammar
I am good for beginners and intermediate learners who want to practice speaking.
