Hi, I’m Marilu, a TESOL- and TEFL-certified English tutor with extensive professional experience in business, supply chain, procurement, operations, logistics, customer service, and hospitality.

Teaching style
My lessons are practical, supportive, and focused on getting you to speak.
I use a simple approach: explain → examples → practice → conversation. Rather than spending the entire lesson studying rules, we use new vocabulary and grammar in realistic situations so that you learn how to communicate naturally and confidently.
For Conversational English students, lessons focus heavily on speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, and interesting real-world topics.
For Business English students, we can work on meetings, emails, presentations, workplace vocabulary, professional conversations, interviews, and industry-specific communication.
Lessons are personalized to your level and goals. I also provide corrections, feedback, and learning materials to help you continue improving between lessons.
