About Jevashnie
Hi everyone 😊 I'm Jevashnie, from sunny South Africa! I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology, a 120-hour TEFL certificate, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I have 2 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language and 9 years of experience teaching Business English.
I'm passionate about understanding people, exploring different perspectives, and connecting with people from all walks of life, which is one of the things I love about teaching English!
Outside of teaching, I love baking, spending time in nature, and being surrounded by plants and animals. I'm someone who enjoys a good laugh and finding joy in life's little moments and new experiences.
I'm excited to meet students from all around the world, hear your stories, learn about your cultures, and share a little about myself along the way. I look forward to getting to know you.
Teaching style
My lessons are all about getting you talking. I use engaging discussions, practical examples, vocabulary-building activities, and grammar exercises to help you develop your English skills naturally.
Every student is different, so I tailor my approach to suit your individual needs and learning goals. We might explore a new topic, practice useful expressions, work on sentence structure, or learn how to express your ideas more clearly.
I encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and challenge themselves. I also provide constructive feedback and corrections to help you recognize your mistakes and understand how to improve.
