About Ipeleng
I am a native English speaker with a diverse professional background that has allowed me to develop strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills across several industries. Throughout my career, I have worked in sales, project management, education, and real estate, often taking on multiple responsibilities depending on the needs of the organisation and the clients I served.
Academically, I hold a BA in Business Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration. In addition, I completed a TEFL Level 5 Asia-Pacific Diploma and TEFL/TESOL certification to further pursue my passion for teaching English as a second language and helping students improve their communication skills with confidence.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, baking, and watching series to relax and unwind.
Teaching style
I have been actively teaching in the Online ESL space for the past 4+ years, where I have successfully completed over 6,000 classes in both one-on-one and group lesson settings. These experiences have allowed me to create engaging, student-focused lessons tailored to different learning goals and proficiency levels.
My lessons have covered a variety of topics, including Free Talk sessions, News Article discussions, and structured Textbook learning. I enjoy encouraging students to speak confidently through open conversation while also helping them develop vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and critical thinking skills. I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and making progress at their own pace.
