I am a native English speaker and experienced university lecturer with a PhD and more than 18 years of teaching experience. I have taught international students in political science, philosophy, business ethics, critical thinking, academic writing, and research skills. I can help learners improve everyday English, professional communication, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and confident speaking. I particularly enjoy helping students express complex ideas clearly and naturally.
My teaching style is flexible, supportive, and conversational. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, interests, and goals rather than following a rigid programme. Lessons can focus on informal conversation, structured speaking practice, schoolwork, academic writing, or professional English. I encourage students to speak as much as possible and correct mistakes in a friendly, constructive way. My aim is to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable experimenting, asking questions, and gradually becoming more fluent and confident.
