About Alon
I’m Alon, an educator and tutor based in the East Bay. I’ve worked as a substitute teacher across multiple districts and grade levels, including Special Education and classrooms with high‑risk students. I teach English, Math, Computer Science, Science, Social Studies, and History. I bring patience, clarity, and real enthusiasm to every lesson. I love making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful for both kids and adults. My goal is to help every student grow with confidence, curiosity, and a sense of enjoyment in the learning process.
Teaching style
My teaching style is rooted in clarity, patience, and genuine enthusiasm for learning. As a substitute teacher across multiple East Bay districts, I’ve taught students from kindergarten through high school, including Special Education and high‑risk classrooms. These experiences shaped my belief that every learner deserves a safe, engaging, and meaningful space.
I teach Math, Computer Science, Science, Social Studies, History, and English, always aiming to make lessons interesting, accessible, and connected to real life. I bring positive energy to the classroom—whether I’m helping a student grasp a math concept, guiding a history discussion, or strengthening reading and communication skills. I adapt quickly, spark curiosity, and make learning enjoyable for both kids and adults.
