About Alison
Hello. My name is Alison. I am a British English tutor with over 13 years experience in teaching English online to children from the ages of 4 to 16, and adults. I have a bachelor's degree, a 120 hour TEFL certificate and a 40 hour EAP certificate (English for Academic Purposes). I live on the east coast of England with my husband and German Shepherd dog, Oscar. In my free time, I enjoy many things including crafts, reading and walks with my dog.
Teaching style
I am a fun teacher with a lot of patience. I like to make classes interesting by adding lots of different activities if possible. I can help with conversation practice, grammar, vocabulary, idioms, and phrasal verbs. I am also experienced in teaching Cambridge English, business English and general English. I always ask my students what their hobbies and interests are so that I can include them in our lessons.
